Class Peru's Learning Market
Class Peru held a Learning Market so their families could come and see what they have been learning in class.
Relatives were able to walk around the hall and see displays of work. There was a Literacy Station where Brips were on display. These were new brick shaped chips invented by pupils taking into account two Whittlesey businesses, McCains and the Hanson Brickyards. They have written a letter to the Co-Op using their persuasive writing skills and are awaiting a reply. There were stocks and work on display showing Crime and Punishment since 1066. Parents were asked to sign up for the Roman Army using Roman Numerals for their dates of birth, there was a science station with experiments using bottles and balloons, a badminton station, and in the ICT Suite parents were shown how to use Scratch and MuviMagic programming software. The class then assembled on the stage for a final song about Olympians as they have been learning about Ancient Greece.
