It was great to participate in the Straw Bear Parade again this year after the enforced break. Even a torrential downpour did little to dampen the spirits as a number of children from School participated, including Eve R as the 'Little Bear' and George and Henry I supporting the pulling of the plough.
U11 Girls ESFA Pokemon Cup Football Qualifier On Friday 13th January AJS took a team of year 5/6 girls to the U11 Girls ESFA Pokemon Cup Football Qualifier at Witchford Village College. The tournament was played on a round robin basis. The girls worked extremely well together passing the ball, creating space and scoring goals. They had a mixture of results winning and drawing most of their games. I was very impressed with the children’s excellent sportsmanship and teamwork. Well done to all the players that took part, you were a pleasure to take and excellent ambassadors for AJS.
