  • Early Years - Church Farm

    Published 30/06/23

We have had a fantastic time on our first Early Years trip to church farm. We explored the sandpit and saw a range of adorable farm animals and their babies. Then we all went on an exciting tractor ride learning about the different animals and their environments and took part in a quiz. Finally, we had a little play exploring their exciting play areas before heading home. We all had a fabulous day in the sunshine and are all feeling very tired! Thank you for your continued support in making this trip possible

    Year 3/4 Quadkids Athletics

On Friday 23rd June, it was the turn of the year 3/4 children to take part in the Quadkids Athletics Event at Cromwell Community College in Chatteris. There were 8 teams competing from Chatteris, Wisbech, March and Whittlesey. Teams were made up of five boys and five girls. Each member of the team competed in a 50m sprint, 400m long distance, standing long jump and a howler throw. Depending on the time or distance the children were allocated points. The points were then added together to give a team score. The children all did an amazing job putting maximum effort into each event. The overall result ended with the AJS year 4 team coming 3rd and AJS year 3 team coming 5th. Well done to all that took part. Special mentions go to Emily G who came 3rd overall and Oakley R for coming 2nd overall in the whole event.
