At Alderman Jacobs Primary School we promote the ethos of safeguarding in all that we do. Staff receive regular training and updates in all aspects including safeguarding and child protection, radicalisation and the PREVENT agenda and risk assessments of the physical environment, so they can ensure that our robust procedures are implemented.

Throughout the year we provide opportunities for all children to develop their understanding about how to keep themselves safe. These activities include a safety survey, a wellbeing survey, traffic, sun and water safety, NSPCC Pantosaurus workshop and online safety workshops.
